Game developer MumboJumbo (
Luxor) has announced that it has formed a new division focused on bringing casual games for both PC and handheld consoles to the European market, the first of which will launch in the first quarter of 2007.
MumboJumbo, which in a different incarnation was formerly a full-price PC game developer (
Myth III: The Wolf Age) is best known as the developer of popular casual PC games such as
Luxor: Amun Rising and
Chainz 2: Relinked, as well as
UltraBall and
Twisty Tracks.
The company also confirmed that it has added industry veteran George Bray as its international brand manager. In his new role, Bray will be responsible for marketing the initial lineup of casual titles across Europe. In addition, company officials note that as the newly formed MumboJumbo Europe grows, the division's marketing team is expected to grow as well.
