Midway Lays Off 60 Employees From Coin-Op Division

Midway announced that it laid off about 60 people (about 8% of the total company)from its coin-op division.

The company said that the layoffs were in response to soft market conditions in the coin-op sector, and said that it "is actively seeking additional employees for its home video game business."
