Despite making no major announcements thus far concerning the next-generation Xbox, Microsoft representatives have been happy to concentrate their presentations at this year's GDC on the new XNA development platform. Video clips are now available from the company’s XNA website demonstrating the technology in action, with demos created by Pseudo Interactive (Cel Damage) and High Voltage (Hunter: The Reckoning). The hardware running the demos has not been revealed but is rumoured to be a Windows XP PC. According to rumour the next-generation Xbox will actually be unveiled this summer, presumably at the X04 press event. The rumours follow comments from Peter Moore, suggesting that "It's too early in the cycle of Xbox to be talking about its successor" – when questioned as to whether the new Xbox machine will be show at this year’s E3.
