Microsoft has announced that this Wednesday's Xbox Live Arcade update will see the addition of a new add-on pack for
Bomberman Live, as well as discounts on three older titles, including Konami's updated arcade port,
Frogger.
Seemingly reticent to put an arcade title up against the notable launch of its
Halo 3, Microsoft has not announced a new game for the week, instead opting for the new 250 point ($5)
Bomberman pack and price cuts.
The three titles available at cut rate prices this week include
Bankshot Billiards 2, Frogger, and
Hardwood Spades. Pixelstorm's
Billiards will drop from 1200 to 900 points ($11.25), and both
Frogger and
Hardwood Spades will fall from 400 to 300 points ($3.75).
The price drops are for a limited time, starting on September 26th and continuing through October 2nd. This is the second time Microsoft has offered a price cut on some of its older Xbox Live Arcade titles, following a recent
Labor Day weekend sale earlier this month.
