The five studios are:
-Argonaut Games (Middlesex, England), creator of
Croc 2: Kingdom of the Gobbo's.
-Just Add Monsters (Cambridge, England), creator of
MediEvil,
MediEvil2 and
Frogger.
-Mesa Logic (Dallas, TX), developer of the arcade games
Area 51,
Maximum Force and
Site 4, all published by Atari Games.
- Presto Studios (San Diego, CA), developer of
Myst III: Exile and the
Journeyman Project series.
-Studio Gigante (Chicago, IL), creator of some
Mortal Kombat titles, WWF titles,
NBA Showtime 2000 and
NFL Blitz 2000.
The new companies will design and create exclusive titles under the Microsoft label.
