Promax/BDA has announced a call for sessions for its forthcoming April 8-9, 2008 MI6 Marketing Conference, which this year is focusing on "cracking the code" -- defining the combination of creative strategy, innovation and parnerships that lead product launches, ROI and careers.
The conference, which bills itself as "an influential gathering built by and for the gaming industry exclusively" seeks proposals for both sessions and speakers from "all areas of the business."
Conference officials note that the session topics will include game launch strategies, research, multi-platform marketing, new technologies, inspiration, and advertising, media and marketing partnerships.
Last month Promax announced that Jonathan Block-Verk will become its president in January 2008 and oversee the 2008 conference as part of his duties. Block-Verk formerly was VP, group publisher and executive producer of events for Canada's Boards Magazine, where he oversaw the Creative Workshop series and the Advertising Women of Excellence events.
The 2008 conference will take place April 8-9, 2008 in San Francisco’s Grand Hyatt Union Square. Interested parties can visit
MI6's official 2008 website to submit proposals, with a deadline of Friday, December 21, 2007.
