Meqon Research AB has announced the release of version 1.5 of its advanced Meqon Game Dynamics Software Development Kit (SDK).
Over the past twelve months, according to the company Meqon has signed deals with developers including Atari, 3D Realms and Illusion Softworks to provide them with Meqon Game Dynamics. The company has also had its technology integrated directly into several developer's game engines.
Meqon Game Dynamics 1.5 is based on over 18 months of in-depth research undertaken with many development studios, working across all platforms. This focus on the developer helps ensure that the Meqon system is optimized towards fast, efficient and flexible game development.
Version 1.5 of Meqon Game Dynamics includes numerous Source Code examples, custom vehicles, liquid surfaces, particle systems, actions, serialization, XML – everything you need to build and prototype scenes and games.
Meqon Game Dynamics also comes with a complete suite of written documentation, covering everything from Getting Started through an Integration Guide, Developer Guide, API Reference, and a comprehensive help and reference system. It supports all platforms and development environments including Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Mac and Linux.
