Cooking Mama is back for another go of culinary castigation. Majesco has announced Cooking Mama 2: Dinner With Friends for the Nintendo DS, with details of a new Wii version to be announced at a later date. Majesco says Cooking Mama 2 will feature 80 new recipes across 150 different cooking mini-games, with a new "tasting mode" and a focus on cultural dishes, from shark fin soup to American apple pie. Though you've only had to impress Mama with your kitchen wizardry in the previous games, this installment also adds nine finicky dinner guests who will taste and judge each meal. Cooking Mama 2 will also make use of the DS's wireless multiplayer feature, allowing up to four players to compete in cook-offs on one game card. A new "Decoration Mode" will also let players decorate their kitchen and customize Mama.
