LucasArts has issued a press release confirming 31 development studio employee layoffs as part of a larger restructuring, according to the company’s statement.
On the executive end of the restructuring, Jim Ward, who has been president of LucasArts since May, named Peter Hirschmann vice president of product development. Hirschmann, who formerly worked for EA before joining LucasArts two years ago, will oversee internal and external development.
