After the sales low point last week the UK has seen an upsurge in software sales, on the back of a trio of prominent new releases. Eidos’ third entry in the Hitman series has performed as well as previous iterations for the company, beating out Electronic Arts’ well received boxing simulator.
The new entry of Codemasters’ soccer action title England International Football 2004 at number seven marks one of the best periods for the stalwart company in several months, with TOCA Race Driver 2 and LMA Manager 2004 giving them a share of the top ten to rival Electronic Arts.
