There has been curiously little excitement in the UK sales charts this week, considering that Easter is fast approaching – traditionally the games industry’s second busiest time of the year. Thanks to the release of the PC version Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell sequel has hung on to the top spot, with the console version of Rainbow Six 3 also making a reappearance, now that is joined by a PlayStation 2 version. Other than that, and the belated appearance of soccer simulation This is Football, there is little other movement of note in the charts, save the reappearance of several Christmas titles such as The Simpsons: Hit & Run and Need for Speed: Underground.
