According to the NPD U.S. PC sales data for October, Electronic Arts' The Sims 2 has continued to dominate the charts, although the Star Wars Galaxies expansion pack Jump To Lightspeed has done better than expected, considering continued rumblings from the game's users, and rumors of a split between LucasArts and Sony Online Entertainment. The only other new entry is the averagely received Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude, although Rome: Total War has recovered well from its initially low entry in the charts, and will likely continue to sell well for some months to come. There will likely be a number of changes in the charts next month, with the entry of Half-Life 2, which will likely be the only new title capable of knocking The Sims 2 from the top spot this year.
