In an unusually inert week for the Japanese charts both Dragon Warrior V and Dragon Ball Z: Bukutou Geki have been able to stay firmly rooted to the top of the chart, with only Koei’s new Nobunaga's Ambition title piercing the top three. Dragon Warrior V has now sold over 1.5 million units, making it the most popular remake (in this case of an older SNES title) yet seen in the Dragon Warrior series. Overall though sales this week has been weak with the paucity of new releases leaving sales at only 67.72% of the weekly average. In hardware sales the PlayStation 2 has once again dominated with a 51.50% market share, followed by the Game Boy Advance at 41.38%. The GameCube is now in serious danger of dipping below 5% at 6.22%, while the Xbox has already plunged below 0.5% at 0.35% and was almost outsold by the PS one at 0.30% and the SwanCrystal at 0.26%.
