Middleware firm Kynogon has announced that starting in August 2006, the company will have an office in Montreal, Canada. This office will house the company's technical support as well as North American Sales and all marketing and communication operations. Jacques Gaubil, COO and co-founder of Kynogon, will relocate to Canada in order to lead the new office.
The French-headquartered company develops and markets A.I. software for real-time behavior simulation. Kynogon’s technology is used by game developers such as Electronic Arts and Atari, as well as by firms such as EADS and British Aerospace. Kynogon has 6 years experience providing AI production solutions for the games industry, working with clients from preproduction to gold master. The company’s latest offering is its A.I. engine, Kynapse.
