Officials from British developer Kuju have announced the hiring of Stephen ‘Baz’ Baskerville and Dan Lish to the concept teams of its Zoe Mode studio, formerly known as Kuju Brighton (EyeToy: Play, SingStar, Crush). Baskerville comes to Zoe Mode from Blitz Games, most recently renowned for its Xbox and Xbox 360 Burger King games. Prior to his games work, Baskerville was a 14 year veteran in the comic book field, working as an artist for both DC and Marvel. Lish joins the UK studio from a five year stint working in New York, where he put in time with Take-Two's Gotham Games (Starsky & Hutch), Rockstar Games, and Sony Interactive. First was formed in 2003 and best known for work on casual titles such as EyeToy: Play 3, EyeToy: Play – Sports, SingStar: Rocks, SingStar: Anthems and SingStar: Legends, Kuju's Brighton studio was re-branded as Zoe Mode in March of this year. The studio's first game under the Zoe Mode name will be original PSP title Crush for Sega. Said Zoë Mode art director Ben Hebb, “It’s truly exciting bringing on board two guys with such breathtaking creative experience. With their vision and our talented teams of artists we’re expecting some really outstanding results”.
