Officials from Japanese publisher and developer Koei have revised the company’s earnings projections for the current quarter. Largely as a result of the delay of
Crimson Sea 2, the company has revised predictions down by 5% to ¥12.4 billion ($112m).
Sales for the quarter are expected to fall by 4% to ¥28.2 billion ($255m). The company hopes to improve on these figures in subsequent quarters with its announcement that it will begin shipping titles to mainland China (many of its titles are based on specifically Chinese legends and characters). The company also plans to open a development studio in Singapore this spring.
