Japanese publishing giant Kadokawa have acquired game developers ASCII and Enterbrain as part of a corporate takeover. The deal, to be finalised by March, involves the sale of parent company Media Leaves but financial details and how the move will affect existing employees is unknown. ASCII and Enterbrain are famous not only as game publishers and developers but also for the former’s range of third-party peripherals and magazines such as Weekly ASCII and Famitsu. Source: Polygon
