Square Enix's Dragon Quest IX
for DS is enjoying a second week at the top of the Japanese software charts, although its second week sales at 613,000 units were significantly less than its chart-smashing 2.3 million unit debut
But it's still a commanding lead -- according to new data from Media Create, the number two title, baseball title Pro Yakyuu Spirits 6
for PlayStation 3, was a distant second with a 74,000 unit debut.
It displaces Nintendo's MotionPlus-bundling Wii Sports Resort
, which concedes one position to come in third, thus stepping Nintendo's own Tomodachi Collection DS
down into the fourth spot.
The PlayStation 2 version of Pro Takyuu Spirits 6
debuted in the same week as its PlayStation 3 counterpart, in the fifth position.
