Nintendo's fast-selling Wii Sports Resort led Japanese video game sales charts for the second week in a row, breaking half a million units in two weeks, according to Media Create. The Wii MotionPlus-enabled Wii Sports Resort, which debuted in late June, sold 155,000 units for the week ended July 5. Media Create said the game has sold 514,000 units to date. Wii Sports Resort includes various sports such as fencing, wakeboarding, and skydiving. Bundled with the Wii MotionPlus, the game is Nintendo's initial showpiece for the peripheral, which makes motion control significantly more accurate. Sega's newly-released PSP rhythm game Hatsune Miku: Project Diva debuted in the second place slot, selling 101,000 units, bumping down the strong-selling Tomodachi Connection for Nintendo DS. Another new top 10 entry was the Sony-published PSP game Boku no Natsu Yasumi 4 (My Summer Vacation 4), a game that lets players follow a young boy on his summer vacation. Falling out of the top 10 from the prior week was Arc System Works' Blazblue for PS3 and Xbox 360, and Compile Hearts' Agarest Senki Zero for PS3. Below are the Japanese sales charts for the week ended July 5:
