Interplay Forced From Nasdaq Market

Interplay, which faced de-listing by the Nasdaq market because it did not meet the minimum market value for traded companies, announced that its common stock has been approved for listing on the Nasdaq SmallCap Market.
Interplay's common stock listing will be transferred to The Nasdaq SmallCap Market on May 28, 2002. Yet the company may not last long on that board, either: Nasdaq said the company has until August 13th to demonstrate compliance with the minimum $1.00 per share Nasdaq SmallCap requirement. Interplay shares are currently trading at $.37 per share, and haven't traded above $1.00 since August 2001.
