Mobile game services company Atlas Mobile (Tetris Tournament) will be acquired by InfoSpace Mobile, an Internet and wireless services solutions provider, the company announced today. Atlas, a small company, primarily focuses on providing mobile, multiplayer tournament games and offers games services on Verizon, Alltel, Midwest Wireless, US Cellular, and Western Wireless phones.
The acquisition will allow InfoSpace to now jump into the gaming end of the mobile market, company officials said today.
