Driver debuted in 1999 and was that year's best-selling PlayStation action game.
Driver 2 was released in 2000 and became the second best-selling PSX game that year.
Driver 3 is under development and is schedule to ship at the end of the year.
The feature film is scheduled to begin production this year, and is being developed for Paul W.S. Anderson ("Resident Evil") to direct from a screenplay by James DeMonaco, Todd Harthan and James Roday ("The Negotiator"). Among other films, Constantin Film produced "The Neverending Story", "The Name of the Rose", and "The House of the Spirits".
