The deal, valued at $100 million, comprised $95 million in Infogrames securities (roughly 4.5 million stock shares) and $5 million in cash. With the completion of this deal, Infogrames gains a number of established game brands, including Civilization, Falcon, Roller Coaster Tycoon, various Atari franchises, interactive versions of Hasbro board games like Monopoly and Risk, interactive versions childrens' titles like Tonka and Candyland, the venerable Dungeons and Dragons franchise, and more. Infogrames also gets rights to develop and publish interactive games based on current and future Hasbro properties through a long-term licensing agreement.
