Officials from online independent game publisher and IndieGamesCon organizer GarageGames have announced that 3D adventure puzzle game
TubeTwist has won the 2005 IndieGamesCon “Best of Show” award at the event, which took place from October 7 to 9.
Created by developer 21-6 Productions,
TubeTwist won by a landside vote, and also picked up the “Best Single Player” award. The winner in the “Best Multiplayer” category was fantasy-themed first person action game
Realm Wars 2, and the “Most Innovative” award was given to experimental narrative game
Façade.

This year’s IndieGamesCon took place last weekend in Eugene, Oregon, where GarageGames is also based. The event was intended as a fun, informal gathering, where independent game developers could share information and experience while attending sessions on game art, technology, tools and business.
The event had a central “ShowOFF center” open to developers to play test and showcase current prototypes, demos and newly released games, and Gamasutra will have a feature wrapping up the entirity IndieGamesCon debuting on the site tomorrow.
