Event organizer iHollywood Forum has announced a NextGen Games Forum, to run from 9am to 6pm on Thursday May 19th, at the FoxSports SkyBar at Staples Center, alongside the massive E3 Expo, which is being held at the adjacent L.A. Convention Center.
The topics for the all-day conference include next-gen games, mobile gaming and online and PC games, and will consist of panel discussions and demos to educate the gaming industry, publishers, developers, press and analysts about business opportunities in these new explosive markets.
This event is independently produced by iHollywood Forum and not affiliated with E3Expo or its management, according to a statement by the Forum's organizers. An initial list of speakers for the NextGen Games Forum has not yet been released.
However, the E3 Expo event itself already contains a
significant number of developer-led conference sessions, including talks by game director Hironobu Sakaguchi, film writer-director John Milius, and Xbox Japan general manager Yoshihiro Maruyama.
Further information on the NextGen Games mini-conference can be accessed at the
official site for the NextGen Games Forum.
