The non-profit International Game Developers Association said this week that it elected Gordon Bellamy, senior producer of emerging media at yU+co as its new chairman.
Bellamy's election comes shortly after IGDA announced new board members
Wendy Despain, David Edery, Darius Kazemi and Jane Pinckard, who now hold three-year terms.
In a statement, Bellamy said, "The new board members are an incredible group of leaders ready to tackle the challenges facing our industry and they join a great board. Personally, I hope to expand support to our local chapters and special interest groups and try some new things with conferences on the east coast so we can reach more members and grow problem-solving from the grassroots level."
