The International Game Developers Association has appointed National University's Tim Langdell, EA Partners' Jamil Moledina, and Image Metrics' Gordon Bellamy to its board of directors.

The International Game Developers Association has appointed National University's Tim Langdell, EA Partners' Jamil Moledina, and Image Metrics' Gordon Bellamy to its board of directors. 1st Playable Productions' Tobi Saulnier also returns to serve another term. The IGDA has also appointed new officers; 35-year industry veteran Bob Bates becomes the new Board chair, Kaos Studios' Coray Seifert was appointed as Secretary, and Saulnier will serve as Treasurer. "The IGDA is working hard this year to increase member value, especially given the economic turmoil that is causing difficulties for so many people in our community," said Bates. "As the largest organization of game development professionals in the world, we serve nearly 16,000 members with our efforts to build community, advocate on important issues, and advance the careers of game developers everywhere."
