Representatives from in-game advertising firm IGA Worldwide have announced an exclusive partnership deal with Sega Europe and developer Sports Interactive for all forthcoming titles in the Football Manager
(aka Worldwide Soccer Manager
The deal will include the forthcoming massively multiplayer online title Football Manager Live
, due for release this summer, which allows players to create and manage their own soccer teams against hundreds of other human players.
The sports theme will mean that few of the restrictions placed on other titles with non-contemporary settings will be needed, with IGA’s global sales team planning a wide range of advertising including league and tournament sponsorship, pitch-side billboards, Web-based MPUs (mid page units) and a number of premium static integrations.
IGA also plans to use its proprietary Radial technology to dynamically link ad spaces between the Football Manager Live
game client and the corresponding locations on the Football Manager Live
