Hi-Rez Studios, Inc., a developer of online interactive entertainment software located outside of Atlanta, Georgia, has announced that it has licensed Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 3 for a massively multiplayer online game (MMOG) currently in development. No further details on the possible platform and release date for the game have yet been released.
“We selected the strongest toolset available to accelerate our project”, says Erez Goren, CEO of Hi-Rez Studios, which is the computer and video game subsidiary of tech company Blue Cedar Holdings. “Unreal Engine 3 technology is allowing our team to rapidly implement new game play elements and deliver stunning high resolution content.”
