Ghostlight Seeking North American Distribution Deal

UK-based publisher Ghostlight (Shadow Hearts: From the New World, Glory Days) has announced it will seek a North American publishing and distribution for its owned-IP next generation titles currently in development, including the upcoming World War
UK-based video game publisher Ghostlight (Shadow Hearts: From the New World, Glory Days) is in search of new partnerships to support a North American release of their owned-IP next gen titles currently in development. Earlier this year, Ghostlight announced that Chemistry (formerly Kuju Sheffield) would develop its World War I FPS To End All Wars for the Xbox 360 and PS3. At the time, the company anticipated a Summer 2008 release date, but with this recent announcement, Ghostlight is indicating a release date of October 2008. Chemistry is using Unreal Engine 3 for To End All Wars, as discussed in Gamasutra's exclusive Q&A with Chemistry head Simeon Pashley: "It is a first person shooter, but our other project [as yet unannounced] isn't," Pashley says. "I can't say much beyond that, but it's not what you would typically expect of an Unreal game. It's not a slight twist, it's a very big twist. Look forward two years, and you should be able to see from the games we've produced that we're specialists in UE3, not another studio churning out first person shooters." The company says it hopes to meet new potential partners at the upcoming E for All Expo in Los Angeles on October 18th-20th, and added that it is also interested in discussing publishing and distribution partnerships for North American publishers in Europe.
