GDX 2009 Adds Hocking, Rohrer, The Fat Man

Clint Hocking, George ‘The Fat Man’ Sanger and Jason Rohrer, have been announced as the three keynote speakers for the Game Developers Exchange (GDX) conference, to be hosted by Savannah College of Art and Design in April.
Clint Hocking of Ubisoft, music man George "The Fat Man" Sanger, and indie developer Jason Rohrer, creator of titles like Passage and Between, have been announced as the three keynote speakers for the Game Developers Exchange conference. The annual conference is hosted by regional college Savannah College of Art and Design. The art school, which has a program of study for interactive design and game development, will host the fifth annual event April 16 and 17 in Savannah, GA. The two-day event will speak to four main areas of interest in game development: art, design, level design, and audio. Other speakers will include game designer Ian Scheiber, author and scholar Ian Bogost, Andrew Bains, senior level designer for Gears of War and Gears of War 2, Jason Arnone, art manager at Harmonix, Richard Dansky of Red Storm Entertainment, Susanne Meiler of Destineer Studios, and Mark Nelson of Big Huge Games.
