Graphic Remedy has announced the release of gDEBugger Version 2.2. gDEBugger, an OpenGL debugger and profiler, traces application activity on top of the OpenGL API, letting programmers see what is happening within the graphic system implementation to find bugs and optimize application performance. The new V2.2 introduces a Shaders "Edit and Continue" ability which allows programmers to Edit, Save and Compile Shaders source code, Link and Validate Programs "on the fly." This feature saves developer time required for rebuilding and running again the developed application. The new version also boasts greater extensions support and the ability to keep tabs on deleted contexts in the log file. This version also adds support for 8 additional OpenGL extensions. This new version can be downloaded from Graphic Remedy's website, which also contains a complete list of changes and bugfixes in the new version.
