The CMP Game Group (which also runs the Serious Games Source
websites) has announced that early registration deadlines for the forthcoming GDC London and subsequent London Games Summit have been extended from September 15th to September 22nd.
Early registration for the conferences, which will begin October 2nd through the 4th for GDC London and extend from the 4th through the 5th for the following Games Summit, and will take place at the BAFTA Headquarters at 195 Piccadilly, is provided at a rate discounted £50 from regular registration.
GDC London, which focuses exclusively on advanced techniques in game development, especially within the UK, will build on the 2006 GDC theme of "What's Next" by narrowly focusing on key next-generation console and PC development issues.

The GDC London conference also includes two optional days of tutorials sponsored by IBM and NVIDIA, covering Cell Broadband Engine application processing and DirectX10 programming, respectively. Early registration for the tutorials come at a savings of £25.
The London Games Summit, co-presented by ELSPA and Tiga, is a leadership seminar that will address next-generation business issues and explore strategies for maximizing market opportunities in the modern game market. It includes the keynote 'Digital Reality' from
Michael Denny of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studio [Europe], alongside a number of other exec-friendly talks
