Gamasutra has now launched its stand-alone GDC 2006 coverage page, as part of its aim to provide the most in-depth and comprehensive coverage of this week's Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California. With over ten correspondents covering over fifty of the top lectures, roundtables, and interviews, including the major keynotes from the Serious Games Summit, GDC Mobile, and GDC itself, those interested in viewing detailed write-ups of the key sessions, from Will Wright to Satoru Iwata and beyond, should bookmark the page. Major coverage scheduled for Monday includes a full write-up on the first Serious Games Summit keynote, as well as a major pre-GDC interview with gameLab's Eric Zimmerman on his company's GDC announcements regarding alternative funding, new business models, and fresh partnerships. Gamasutra will also be covering the fascinating Game Connection meetings, held today and tomorrow in San Jose, where significant publishers and independent developers schedule talks to matchmake and pitch games, and will also be covering the multitude of major video game tool-related product announcements in full in our news section.
