The Game Developers Conference (GDC) China, the must-attend summit dedicated exclusively to the growing Chinese game development industry, has opened registration, making it available online at the conference website. The event, taking place August 27-29, 2007 at the Shanghai International Convention Center, will offer an insider’s perspective on key regional issues, and will also feature a robust recruitment component. The conference promises to advance the state of the game industry in China by bringing GDC’s top-quality content and sense of community. The conference producers, CMP Technology - presenters of the largest global event dedicated to video game creation, the Game Developers Conference (as well as owners of - and leading technology, media and events company, IDG, are pleased to announce the first of many sessions from key game industry veterans exclusively focused on the future growth of the Chinese games market. Headlining the Online Game Development and Business track is David Perry, CEO & Founder of Paul Steed, Co-Founder & CCO of Exigent, will address "Why Cultural Training is Crucial to Outsourcing" on the Outsourcing and Next Generation Games track. Leading the Mobile Games track is Petri Talala, Vice President, Mobile Business, Futuremark Corp, with "Mobile 3D Graphics in 3G World and Beyond." Bob Zhu, HR director - Asia, Electronic Arts, will present "Do Basic Things Right: Setting up New Business Units and Growing HR Departments in China" in the Career and Recruitment track.
