Two weeks ago, Gamasutra's sister site GameCareerGuide.com posed this challenge to readers: rename classic Keita Takahashi-designed roll-em-up Katamari Damacy with an English language title. And the results are in! Gamasutra readers were invited to take part in this challenge as well, and of the dozens of completed answered received, GameCareerGuide.com picked three that stood out as being the strongest. The challenge was a bit of a departure from other Game Design Challenges being run on the site, asking students instead to keep one eye on their marketing and business smarts while steering the other toward artists, who might have to accommodate the new title with new box art. In the article announcing the winners, you can also find a few cover art mock-ups from the community members with a bit of artistic moxie. Interested readers can now visit GameCareerGuide.com's results page to read the winning submissions.
