Turner's 'all you can eat' GameTap subscription gaming service has announced that it will soon hit a major milestone of 1000 games offered, along with the simultanous downloadable release of the forthcoming title
Jericho and new free to play games.
GameTap content VP Ricardo Sanchez says the milestone, which it expects to reach on November 15th, reinforces "our reputation as the leader in the space."
Along with the recent addition of Sega's cult hit
Typing of the Dead, GameTap has also announced that Codemasters' shooter
Clive Barker's Jericho will be added on October 23rd alongside its retail release.
The company has also recently added the season finale of its revived
Myst Online: Uru Live title, with new game areas and a climax to its current storyline, and expects to launch the second season of its
Sam & Max Season Two on November 8th.
To celebrate the latter, it has added episode four of the first
Sam & Max as a freely playable title, as part of the ad-supported selection service it
launched in June.
Said Sanchez, “GameTap is focused on providing our subscribers with new original games, as well as great partner titles like
Clive Barker’s Jericho, that will premiere on GameTap the same day it hits retail stores.”
