Following the theft of code from Valve’s eagerly awaited Half-Life 2, three other forthcoming PC titles have had alpha versions of their executables “leaked” onto the Internet in the last few days: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Oblivion Lost, Painkiller and World of WarCraft. In the case of Painkiller, the game seems to be a press preview version, but it's not clear how the other two were leaked. All three titles are reportedly now freely available via peer-to-peer networks.
