This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending October 13, highlights the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut. The week's most popular titles across all platforms were dominated once again by Ubisoft's upcoming Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which ships this week for the Xbox 360. Rockstar's PlayStation 2 exclusive Bully, which ships on October 17, proved to be the second most requested title across all platforms, followed by Midway's recently shipped fighting game, Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. While Splinter Cell: Double Agent was the most requested Xbox 360 title for the week, the top three requests on the console's chart were filled out by Electronic Arts' Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 and Microsoft's Epic Games' developed Gears of War in the second and third positions respectively. Looking to the original Xbox, it was Mortal Kombat: Armageddon that topped that chart, followed by Vivendi's Scarface: The World Is Yours and Take-Two's Family Guy. Bully topped all requests for PlayStation 2 releases for the week, while Midways' Mortal Kombat: Armageddon and Vivendi's Scarface: The World Is Yours filled out the remaining two spots on the chart. Turning to the GameCube, D3P's Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 was again the most requested title for the week, followed by a pair of titles from THQ with SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab and Avatar: The Last Airbender. Game Boy Advance requests were again led by Nintendo's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team. However, DSP's Naruto: Ninja Council 2 moved up one spot from last week, knocking Nintendo's Pokemon Emerald into the third spot on the chart. Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis remained on top of the Nintendo DS chart for the week, followed Nintendo's upcoming Nintendogs: Dalmation & Friends and Atlus' adventure game Contact. Looking toward the PSP, Vivendi's Scarface: Money. Power. Respect. was again the most requested title for the handheld. Namco's Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception pulled in the second most requests for the week, followed by Activision's recently shipped Gun Showdown. GameFly requests for titles for the PlayStation 3 this week saw Resistance: Fall of Man from Sony leading the pack, followed by Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed and Activision's Call of Duty 3. Wii requests were again topped by Ubisoft's Wii-exclusive Red Steel. Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was the second most requested Wii title for the week, followed by Atlus' upcoming conversion, Trauma Center: Second Opinion.
