This week's GameFly video game rental charts for North America, specifically relating to games rented via the games-by-mail service for the week ending June 13th, show popularity over multiple game formats.
Star Wars finally leaves the top three in favor of everyone's favorite game of 2004, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
. The new Xbox version of the game is #1 on the overall charts, atop God of War
and Medal of Honor: European Assault
Naturally, the Xbox-specific chart is decked out in green as well, with its very own new San Andreas
available. Medal of Honor: European Assault
takes second place on Microsoft's machine, followed by old favorite Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
. On the PS2 chart, God of War
continues to demand tribute from the GameFly subscribers, with slots 2 and 3 yet again filled by Medal of Honor: European Assault
and Star Wars Episode III
Resident Evil 4
still refuses to give up its #1 position on the GameCube charts, but this week does mark a bit of a shakeup in that territory: a new #2 has been crowned, and it's Digimon World 4
, of all things. Former #2 Star Fox Assault
will now have to be content with the #3 spot.
On the Game Boy Advance charts, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
is #1 for a third week running, but Pokémon Emerald
is regaining lost ground, coming back up to #2, and may eventually reclaim the top slot. Mario Party Advance
is #3. The Nintendo DS is the only platform where Star Wars Episode III
remains at #1, with Yoshi Touch & Go
staying on at #2 and Wario Ware Touched!
down at #3.
remains the PSP's national pastime, though racing is almost as popular, as Ridge Racers
takes second place and Need for Speed Underground Rivals
comes in third.
