Delta Force: Black Hawk Down dropped like a stone down to 5th as
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon 2: Summit Strike ascended to the top slot in its first week on the charts. Unaffected by the changing of the guard were
Destroy All Humans at #2 and
God of War at #3.
Again,
Summit Strike was most popular on Xbox, on whose charts it similarly ranks as #1.
Destroy All Humans! is again #2 on the Xbox list, though the Xbox-exclusive
Conker: Live and Reloaded makes third place. On the PlayStation 2, however, neither
Summit Strike nor
Delta Force matched their Xbox performance:
Destroy All Humans! took back the top slot,
God of War slipped down to second place, and new racing title
FlatOut debuted at #3.
The GameCube, as usual, continues to exist in its own unique world.
Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life is still on top at #1, fending off advances from
Killer 7's Heaven Smiles on the one hand and
Resident Evil 4's Ganado on the other. The situation there is likely to continue until another exclusive GC game reaches shelves; the next candidate is
Geist, scheduled to drop on the 15th -- though, given the strangeness of the current rental favorites, the next reigning champion could as well be
Hello Kitty: Roller Rescue.
Harvest Moon is also a force this week on the Game Boy Advance, where it's taken over the top position on the rental charts. As a result,
Pokémon Emerald has gone back down to #2, and
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is back at #3. The lack of a
Harvest Moon title on the Nintendo DS may be the reason why familiar standbys
Kirby: Canvas Curse,
Nanostray, and
Meteos lead this week's DS games, in that order.
On the PSP, a sort of third-place roulette has formed:
Coded Arms is again #1, and
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is still #2. Filling in third place this week is
Need for Speed Underground 2, taking over from last week's #3,
Dead to Rights: Reckoning.
