This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending December 1, highlight the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut.
Once again, Ubisoft's
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas ranked as the most requested title across all platforms for the week for the second week in a row. The second most requested title was Capcom's upcoming Xbox 360 snowy bug hunt,
Lost Planet, while Activision's World War II first-person shooter
Call of Duty 3 ranked third among all GameFly user requests.
While these same three titles made up the top three Xbox 360 requests for the week, it was Electronic Arts'
Fight Night Round 3 that ranked as the most requested PlayStation 3 title for the week, beating out
Call of Duty 3 and
Need for Speed Carbon. Activision's popular FPS and EA's underground racer ranked second and third on the PS3 request list. Wii requests were topped by Tecmo's upcoming
Super Swing Golf, followed by Atlus'
Trauma Center and Ubisoft's Wii-exclusive
Red Steel.
Titles requested for the original Xbox were topped by EA's recently shipped
Superman Returns.
