This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending December 1, saw the Xbox 360 once again the most requested platform, with Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas again
This week's top rental charts from U.S. game rental company GameFly, representing the most requested games for the week ending December 1, highlight the popularity surrounding video game titles that have been already released, as well as those that are yet to debut. Once again, Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas ranked as the most requested title across all platforms for the week for the second week in a row. The second most requested title was Capcom's upcoming Xbox 360 snowy bug hunt, Lost Planet, while Activision's World War II first-person shooter Call of Duty 3 ranked third among all GameFly user requests. While these same three titles made up the top three Xbox 360 requests for the week, it was Electronic Arts' Fight Night Round 3 that ranked as the most requested PlayStation 3 title for the week, beating out Call of Duty 3 and Need for Speed Carbon. Activision's popular FPS and EA's underground racer ranked second and third on the PS3 request list. Wii requests were topped by Tecmo's upcoming Super Swing Golf, followed by Atlus' Trauma Center and Ubisoft's Wii-exclusive Red Steel. Titles requested for the original Xbox were topped by EA's recently shipped Superman Returns. Call of Duty 3 ranked second among Xbox requests for the week, followed by LucastArts' strategy sim Thrillville. Looking to the PlayStation 2, Take Two's Bully again topped the list of requests, while Superman Returns and Call of Duty 3 ranked second and third respectively. The upcoming GameCube version of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess once again ranked as the most requested title for Nintendo's established console platform. D3P's Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2 ranked second for the week, while Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy was the third most requested GameCube release for the week. Game Boy Advance requests were led by Square Enix's Final Fantasy V, while Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue, last week's top GBA title, took the second spot for the week. The top three Game Boy Advance requests were rounded out by Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap. Konami's upcoming Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin took the top spot in terms of Nintendo DS requests for the week, knocking last week's top title, Final Fantasy III, into the second position. Nintendo's Kirby: Squeak Squad was third most requested DS release for the week. Turning to the PSP, Konami's upcoming Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops was the most requested title for the week, followed by Sony's Killzone: Liberation and Eidos' Justice League Heroes.
