French website Nintendo-Difference.com is claiming that the GameCube’s price will be cut to under €100 ($115) in Europe, from the first of October. Although unsubstantiated a price cut announcement has been widely expected for several weeks now, although most other rumors place the price cut at around €140 ($160) – the same price tag that the Xbox is also expected to drop to. Additionally the website claims that both Super Mario Sunshine and Metroid Prime will be added to the GameCube Player’s Choice budget range at €29.99 ($34.38). Existing titles in the range such as Pikmin, Luigi’s Mansion and StarFox Adventures would be dropped even further in price to just €19.99 ($22.92).
