Representatives from Nintendo of Europe have announced that the GameCube’s market share of the European hardware market has doubled to 32% since the launch of first party exclusive title Pokémon Colosseum. The GameCube’s success across Europe is not uniform though and although it has successfully pushed the Xbox into third place in France and Germany it is still badly behind in the UK and faring equally poorly, along with Microsoft’s machine, in Spain and Italy.
