Dementium: The Ward, Fury) has announced it will publish Firefly Studios’
Stronghold Crusader Extreme, an update to the developer's 2001 original
Stronghold Crusader PC real-time strategy title, currently slated for a May 2008 launch.
Stronghold Crusader Extreme again casts the player as a warlord in the era of the Crusades, tasked with city-building and RTS defend-and-conquer gameplay.
The revamped version features 20 new missions, battles with over 10,000 units on screen at a time, and adds a tactical aid bar that allows players to use "super moves" against enemies. Finally,
Stronghold Crusader Extreme adds a new Extreme Trail with various linked missions for advanced players.
