This week's U.S. releases have slowed down a tiny bit, in a calm between multiple release storms, but still include a number of significant titles, while Europe outdoes the U.S. in terms of SKUs, and Japan's sensible and steady game release pace continues. -- Games released in the United States: PlayStation 2: ESPN NBA 2K5, Crash: Twinsanity, Dukes Of Hazzard, TriggerMan, Rocky Legends, Armored Core: Nexus, NBA Live 2005 Xbox: ESPN NBA 2K5, Yourself!Fitness, Dukes Of Hazzard, TriggerMan, Rocky Legends, Colin McRae Rally, NBA Live 2005, GameCube: Donkey Konga, TriggerMan PC: Evil Genius, Crusader Kings, Myst IV: Revelation, Time Of Defiance Game Boy Advance: Nicktoons: Freeze Frame Frenzy Not quite the flood it was last week, but notable titles include Electronic Arts and Visual Concepts' yearly take on the basketball genre, as well as quirky drum-totin' GameCube title Donkey Konga, and multi-format releases of UbiSoft's Rocky Legends and the Ratbag-created Dukes Of Hazzard. Going even quirkier still, Xbox keep-fit title Yourself!Fitness finally hits streets, with other console versions rumored to be following. -- Games released in Europe: PlayStation 2: Def Jam: Fight for New York, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time, Viewtiful Joe, This is Football 2005, Obscure, Crescent, Psi-Ops, Rocky Legends, Suzuki Racing: Superbikes & Super Sidecars, Jackie Chan Adventures, The Mummy, Pacific Warriors II: Dogfight, Shark Tale, Spy Fiction Xbox: OutRun 2, Def Jam: Fight for New York, Psi-Ops, Rocky Legends, Obscure, Pilot Down, Shark Tale GameCube: Def Jam: Fight for New York, Shark Tale PC: Evil Genius, Obscure, Full Spectrum Warrior, Knights Of Honour, Myst IV: Revelation, Rome: Total War, Shade: Wrath of Angels, Shadow Ops: Red Mercury, Shark Tale Game Boy Advance: Pokemon FireRed, Pokemon LeafGreen, Shark Tale Europe hits the accelerator, with a number of the titles previously released in the States (Pokemon FireRed, Pokemon LeafGreen, Psi-Ops) making it across the pond. However, debuting ahead of other territories is the UK-developed Xbox conversion of OutRun 2, as well as multiformat survival horror title Obscure, which is due out in the States in early 2005 as Mortifilia. -- Games released in Japan PlayStation 2: Naruto Narutimett Hero 2, Desire, Friends Seishun no Kagayaki, Keroro Gunsou Mero Mero Battle Royale, The Women's Swim Meet - SP2000, Princess Maker 2 GameCube: Zoids Versus III This week in Japan, the most notable title is probably Naruto Narutimett Hero 2, an eagerly awaited one-on-one PS2 fighting game based on the popular anime. Also notable is yet another conversion of raising sim Princess Maker 2, which has appeared on multiple consoles over the past few years, and continues to garner cult popularity.
