The special annual issue includes the Annual Salary Survey, comparing wages between professions and employers, as well as a feature on "How to Get Out of College and Into Games" for aspiring students. Other special features include "A Day In The Life," chronicling an average day for a professional programmer, artist, and designer, "The Life and Times of Indie Games," detailing the possible opportunities available in independent game development; "Top 10 Books," a rundown of essential reading for those breaking into the business, and "Game School Directory," a comprehensive list of schools with programs or degrees specializing in game development.
