Front Line Award Winners Announced

Game Developer magazine announced the winners of its annual Front Line Awards, which honoring excellence and innovation in game development tools.
A panel of game developers specializing in the fields relevant to each category selected finalists and winners based on utility, innovation, value, and ease of use. The winning products in 2002 are: Programming:

  • Havok: Havok Game Dynamics SDK Audio:
  • AudioEase: Altiverb 2.0 Hardware:
  • ATI: Radeon 9700
  • Wacom: Cintiq 18sx Front Line Awards "Hall of Fame" Inductee:
  • Microsoft DirectX These products will be profiled in the January issue of Game Developer. Game Developer is published by the Gama Network, the same group that publishes Gamasutra.
