As the first in a series of new video-based features, Gamasutra is pleased to present selected footage from last year's Game Developers Choice Awards, as part of the preparation for this year's Choice Awards, to be held on Wednesday March 22nd during the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California. This extract from the ceremony the announcement of each of the nominees for the key award at last year's event, plus industry veteran Mark Cerny (Marble Madness) presenting the Best Game award to Valve's Gabe Newell and colleagues at the 2005 Game Developers Choice Awards in San Francisco.
