In this latest Gamasutra student gallery, we present a selection of artwork from the portfolio of Johannes Kristmann, currently studying at the The Games Academy in Berlin, Germany, where he is pursuing courses in Maya Modeling, Concept Art, Art Direction, Scripting, and Level Design
As well as his other art projects shown in the gallery, Kristmann is currently working on a Games Academy project named
MetroCab that's been in development for approximately 1.5 years.
MetroCab is a casual game developed by a team of four students during their education at the Games Academy Berlin. The player controls a jet-powered taxi flying through Metro, the metropolitan city of the future, and the gameplay is a mixture of arcade racer and dexterity game in a setting inspired by The Fifth Element and Futurama.
